I have found my new work pant – in fact, when I discovered this gem of a pair of pants yesterday, I loved the fit and fabric so much that I took two colors home with me (40% off, too!). I never used to do that sort of thing, but as I grow older I know that when you find a good thing, you should buy it in many (every) colors. The colors are amazing – I bought the navy and the camel – and I only didn’t buy the burgundy because I already have the J.Crew Minnie in burgundy wool. Needless to say, I think I can lay off the ankle length pant shopping for a while.
And my dears, because peplum is the hot ticket item these days, I found some lovely Fall appropriate tops to pair with my new-found cropped pant loves. The combination of the feminine peplum mixed with the more masculine slim cut pants creates really nice balance. Throw on a pair of pointed toe flats and out the door you go for a comfortable AND stylish day at work. {Sidenote: I have “normal” length legs, and the regular length was a bit long on me and laid very awkwardly, so I opted for the petite sizing and it hit perfectly right at the ankle bone}
