I am participating in Jessica Quirk’s Winter Remix Challenge! She gave her readers the challenge to take one piece and style it two ways for Winter. I chose to style the orange blouse you see below, which was a total steal at $10 from H&M. For today’s look, I wanted a chic weekend-appropriate outfit that I could wear for daytime or nighttime. On Wednesday, I will show you the other way I styled it, so make sure you check back!
I was instantly drawn to the orange color of this top because I don’t have very much orange in my closet and it’s another good bright that I can mix with the variety of neutrals that currently reside in my closet. I will caution you if you decide to purchase this blouse: it was only $10, so it’s total polyester and it’s incredibly static-prone in the winter months. That being said, I’m not expecting it to last forever, and I will put up with rubbing it with a dryer sheet before I put it on because it’s is a really great winter pick-me-up. I’m going to try to take good care of it, though, because I’d love to style it with white jeans, brown wedges, and a turquoise necklace if it’s in one piece when Summer rolls around!Thank goodness I purchased this neutral army green vest when it was still being sold at Old Navy – I never imagined how much wear I would get out of it!
